B.A. from Harvard University, 
M.Ed. from Virginia Commonwealth University, 
and a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law School.

Professional experience:
Professor Love serves as mediator, arbitrator and dispute resolution consultant in community, employment, family, human rights, school-based and commercial cases.

Specialist area, professional interests:

Teaching, training, consulting and writing in the dispute resolution field

Achievements, rewards:
Recipient of the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award (for her exceptional contributions to advancing alternative dispute resolution personally throughout her career and inspiring others to do the same.)

Publications, scientific works:
Lela Love has written widely on the topic of dispute resolution, including co-authoring three law school textbooks.

One of the most important publication project is Stories Mediators Tell collection of stories told by outstanding mediators from all over the world.
