10:00 - 11:30
Hall #7, General Staff Building (6-8, Dvortsovaya sq.)
The session will focus on the discussion of the current state of government oversight and the plans to reform it with Deputy Prime Minister – Chief of the Government Staff of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuychenko.
The supervisory reform is a much-needed initiative of the government, and the business community is really looking forward to it. Pursuant to the President’s directive the corpus of regulations for statutory requirements is to be replaced entirely with completely new regulations by January 1st, 2021.
This session is the first public discussion of this unprecedented in scale reform with the professional legal community. How is the reform developing? Is it true that all statutory regulations will be cancelled? Are there any guarantees that no legal vacuum will appear when statutory regulations are abolished? Is it possible that old regulations might return in a repackaged form? The participants of the session will have a unique chance to have the answers first-hand from the initiators of the reform.
Deputy Chief of the Government Staff of the Russian Federation
