On Wednesday, May 15 the Moldovan Union of Lawyers and the Federal Bar Association have entered into an agreement of cooperation within the framework of the IX St. Petersburg International Legal Forum. The parties have also signed the Protocol on the accession of the Moldovan Union of Lawyers to the Charter on Fundamental Principles of Advocate’s Activity. The ceremony was held within the Russian Federal Bar conference ‘Lawyer’s Fee. Present and Future’.
The documents were signed by Emanoil Plosnita, President of the Moldovan Bar Association, and Yuriy Pilipenko, President of the Russian Federal Bar Association.
After the ceremony Yuriy Pilipenko called upon his colleagues from Germany, Hong Kong, and Azerbaijan who participated in the conference to consider accession to the Charter as well.
St. Petersburg Legal Forum takes place 14 to 18 May, 2019 in the Eastern wing of the General Staff Building, State Hermitage. SPBILF is supported by the Russian Federation President and organized by the Ministry of Justice of Russian Federation.
