A delegation from the Federal Antitrust Service of the Russian Federation will attend the Forum. The agency’s representatives will take an active part in the Business Programme. Several discussion sessions will be held under the auspices of the FAS Russia and their participants will discuss:

► The government’s role in the promotion of competition, prospects of competition law evolution in Russia and experience of foreign antitrust regulators,

► New types of violations, new legislation and practical application of law in the digital age, contemporary systems to counter a widespread threat – digital cartels (the “Big Digital Cat”), approaches taken by antitrust regulators to digital markets and business’ response to swift changes in the economic and regulatory environment,

► Key objectives of the government’s price (tariff) regulation and ways to achieve them, a recent draft law and areas of further legislative reforms to defend rights of all parties concerned,

► Seeking a balance between antitrust regulation’s intervention in the area of intellectual property for the sake of society and encouraging innovative production
